You don't always have to add sq footage

This is an example of space we had within the four walls. My client wanted to add a half bath and a butlers pantry but thought the only way was was to add onto to his home. We found a space for his laundry in a different location and added a wall a window for the new half bath and just reconfigured the space by moving the laundry to his dead back porch space .We did a masculine theme with black and white and gold in the new butlers pantry and the half bath we used black hexagon floor tiles and a restoration hardware vanity with a marble top.
We used gorgeous gold fixtures and a gold sink in the butlers pantry and also gold fixtures in the half bath
Subway tile on the walls with a grey grout and the homeowner picked the dark navy paint color and gold mirror
The light fixtures I found at the Atlanta market they are horn sconces with black shades from Barbara Cosgrove
We also had a custom door made off his kitchen where once there was a old door with no windows
We still had expense with adding this space but not as much as we would have if we had added onto his house
Always look for the least expensive option and it just might be there!
Now he has a butlers pantry and an additional half bath which increased the value of his home. Plus it's beautiful .
Happy Wednesday and Happy 26th anniversary to my sweet chicken selling husband!
